The Actors Institute was founded in 1977 by a group of theatre professionals including Hollywood producer Dan Fauci, current CEO Allen Schoer, and television and screen actor Ted Danson.

Leading programs for actors and other dramatic arts performers from Los Angeles to London, we helped them renew professional spirit and refocus creative energies. The phenomenal success of this work quickly created a demand among people beyond the theatre.
